All the windows are installed and the last layer of concrete is cast.

After a long car-trip down to Skien to get more Kebony-wood cladding, a wonderful winter-landscape awaited us. The snow is removed to start some roof work next week. It is as if the building looks bald after getting used to all that snow.

The sun-rays were really giving us an insight on how the windows allows for light into the spaces. Although the picture will be adjusted by the interior walls and surface texture and color. The concrete was cast the day before.

A view from the living-room showing the peak out through the window above the interior door and the adjacent one in the exterior wall. Nice to see the sunlight in the hallway as well through the kitchen windows.

One out of three windows in the guest room. The one with the cable coming out of it, stuffed with insulation to overcome the heat loss.

This is our bedroom. The one window on top always giving us a cloud-report.

View from bed - outer position.

View from bed, inner position. (ah, scaffolding sucks)

The cast in the hallway. The concrete will be polished in a week. And that`s when they will start on the oak stair leading up to the higher level.

A view showing the bathroom, and the corner of the hems (what is hems in english..anyone?) with the build-in ladder taking you up.

An illustration showing the two stairs in the cabin.

The floor of the hems is in place. On top of this there will be a carpet, that we haven´t decided the type yet.

Testing of heights and proportions.

Say no more :)

The only thing missing now is the metal between the windows. I wonder how fast it will turn grey. They say it only takes one season.

Finally the pair of the windows installed together.
